Sunset over Bute

Enough of early sunsets among the hills! This is the latest sunset we can see from this part of the world - the view from the shore road at Toward looking down to Bute and the mountains of Arran beyond. It was cold and still, with ice on the puddles even on the beach road, and the sunset was glorious.

I have to admit I struggled to decide which to use of the several photos I took over the period of some 30 minutes - and I realise I may well post another before the year is out.
