Wet, wet, wet

Torrential downpours overnight and still raining this morning. Resulted in chaos on the roads - 5 jack-knifed trucks and people driving into lagoons....typical SoCal in the wet.

Babe had her raincoat on for the morning walk but at lunch it had stopped so we walked without it. Returned to work to find my boss was looking for me. Never a good sign - now landed with reviewing a paper.

Wife went to watch hunger games back to back (which she forget or chose not to mention - only thought she was seeing the new one). I was having my own hunger games as she didn't get any dinner in despite being home by two "working" at home (laptop was on sofa when I got back - no doubt she was watching homeland).
