Spent much of today running around. Took Max to his dentist appointment. I got to watch him get a root canal. He did really well, only wincing once when the freezing was being injected. He was absorbed by the TV they had mounted on the ceiling. ... I suppose I could rephrase that: the dentist did really well in avoiding inflicting pain. Max acted appropriately in response to pain.
