Rain, rain go away

Another wet start to the day so it's a garden blip today. My copper beech hedge is slowly turning to a beautiful russet colour and the leaves will stay until the new growth starts next spring. It gives shelter to birds, little mammals, insects and also to the patch of garden where I've made a flower border this year. It also shows that wonderful warm colour to cheer me up on these dark, dank days.
