A tyring day

Today was going to be a walk on the moor. Supplies had to be obtained so off to Ella's (the bakery) and the two Delis. Vitalled up, returning to the car revealed the parlous state of one of our front tyres.
Walk cancelled and a drive into Exeter to get the tyres replaced. Exeter is not a place that has sorted out its traffic problems. The cathedral and the quayside in particular are however impressive and I look forward to going to evensong in the former.
In the evening we were booked into the Riverford Restaurant. A no-choice organic restaurant where you are sat on tables of eight with the other (random) diners. Good food and interesting enough company meant that it was an enjoyable experience - good thing too as we are booked in again in about a fortnight with one of my cousins.
