The Rose

Went for a walk in my local park and blipped 'The Rose'. I had to poke my camera through the surrounding fencing which is protecting this installation. To quote it is 'A collective place of reflection'
When finished it will consist of 140 pillars. It was partly opened this month for Rememberance Day and you can see the poppies to the right of the picture. Some of the pillars already have names on them and it will be interesting to read them when it is finished. It has been built where there was a fountain and I hope it doesn't get vandalised with rubbish like the fountain was!
Felt I had to blow the cobwebs away before the light failed and the long evening commenced.
