Sunday Skies- Gentle Dawn

The dawn came, gentle upon the earth and the clouds were calm. The high white cirrus rolled by and the lower clouds of pink and oranges drifted in the other direction. To look up was disorienting with no points of reference and an inability to calibrate. The bands of darker clouds stretched away to infinity on the horizon and the warming sun melted the frosty fields before my eyes.
