Here comes Santa Claus

It was the village preschool's annual Christmas Fair today and it was a great success. Not sure how much we have raised for the preschool funds and children's cancer charity Clic Sergeant yet, but it was very busy and lots of trade was done in a very lovely festive atmosphere. The girls all met Santa in his grotto. Grace - pictured here - was her usual talkative self and gave Santa a very long and detailed description of what she would like for Christmas (a games console and a particular game which she explained to Santa). Ophelia also met Santa. When asked what she wanted for Christmas, Ophelia asked for 'a box of cheese.'
She said afterwards that it wasn't the real Santa anyway but a man dressed up as Santa. I asked how she knew and she said "because he had hands".
