Days of Long Shadow (2).

One of the things that I love most about this time of year in Scotland is the way the light casts long shadows wherever it falls. (Colin Baxter was expert at making the most of this in his landscapes). There is a tension between light and shadow but, for an instant, it is in harmony with the land.
