Patina
This statue was put here by the shire a few years ago, it was a different colour then it was Bronze in colour but with time and the ocean air taking its toll oxidisation within the metals they used has caused this look, Patina.
The statue is to mark the continuous arrival of the Eastern Osprey each Spring to our suburb in Mindarie.
I pass this landmark, which it's become, each morning on my walk with Milo our lab, it's always a pleasure when we see the Osprey waiting and watching from the rocks to catch his meal below from the ocean.
We watched Jacob this evening playing on piano "Nobody knows the trouble I'm in", his first recital, he was very confident and excited to play for parents and grandparents, well done Jacob we are so proud.
