To Crawl
The last time I took a long distance shot of some Hooper Swans I had trouble getting my camera to show them on a large enough scale.
It was helpfully suggested that the next time I desired to take such a photograph I should crawl across the field in order to get closer.
Never one to resist a challenge I tried that today. The grass was surprisingly dry and the discomfort was only marginal.
Needless to say these geese saw me coming and turned and waddled away at about the same speed that I approached them.
I am not an expert on geese but you can see that they are brown and white jobs.
They certainly had the last laugh.
