Day 52 – The St Lawrence River, Quebec City

Today was our last day in the beautiful Quebec City. Our train to Montreal was at 3pm so after checking out of our hostel we spent the morning wandering the streets for one last time. This photo is taken from the boardwalk below the Chateau Frontenac, looking down the St Lawrence River. You can just make out a small cruise ship docked – it was quite unusual for there to be only one cruise ship in! One day we saw four!
We have really enjoyed our time in Quebec City and will leave with some great memories. It is a city full of history with a very European feel and all the people we have met have been lovely. We would love to come back one day to experience the city in winter.
