What's next, I wonder?
What's next? No idea really. Do you ever get those days when you wake up feeling a little subdued and with a sense of impending gloom and doom; feeling that certain things will never work out? Maybe it was just because it was Monday and since schooldays I always used to wake (if I'd slept at all) with a heavy heart full of dread. I used to get picked on quite a lot when I was at school which probably explains why I turned out such a peculiar adult.
Anyway, I'm glad to say, the feeling didn't last. Once out of the shower and up the stairs with my laptop burbling away, I was absorbed in checking all my table joins with my problem report from the end of last week. I ordered a new SDHC card for my camera from Amazon yesterday as I couldn't bear to clear out all the pictures from my old card. Even though I have everything saved away on different hard drives, laptops and other places, there are some things I can't bring myself to delete - pictures of dad and his trip up the road to Ayr Citadel to see The Red Hot Chilli Pipers three months before he died - other happy trips in much more recent times too.
Can someone please tell me what the difference is with classes of memory cards? My old one was a class 4 and this is a class 10. I had a text message from Amazon saying 'Your DPD Delivery Driver is called James and he will deliver your package between 12:04 and 13:04, has size 14 feet, weighs 20 stone, has 32" inside leg measurement, has a tattoo saying 'I love Simon' on his right buttock, is wearing leopard skin patterned underpants and howls at the moon after 6 vodkas and coke'. OK, I am exaggerating slightly. The text just stated the time slot and that he was called James! It did make me laugh though. Mom answered the door for it and signed. All this information seems way over the top for such a small purchase!
I fixed my report too! I was well chuffed. If you select 'null' as the directorate, all the agency workers and external learners appear. They aren't in directorates, you see?
Sorry I'm waffling and I promised I wouldn't.
Mom and I went out to feed the birds again after work but fortunately for everyone here, on this gloomiest of days, the lights reflecting in the water going under the bridges appealed to me most.
