This one's for Hilly

This butterfly is called 'common'! Yes, I know. It's uncommonly pretty. But it's a common brown (male) (Heteronympha merope).

It's a first for me this season - there are plenty flying in the Park, but this is in my own back yard - which is always a pleasure.

AND I collected the equivalent of a punnet of raspberries off the canes in my garden.

AND it's warming up.

AND I made some lemon curd (some call it lemon butter - whatever!) last night.

AND it goes uncommonly well with raspberries.
