Camino de Santiago Day 21

It's been a hard few days - wet, wet, wet. My feet have only just dried out. totally my own fault for being too late to put my waterproof trousers on. My trousers got wet and it soaked into my socks and so into my walking shoes. Won't make that mistake again!

Walked through ankle deep red mud today. My mind often turns to the pilgrims doing this walk in mediaval times. Never mind the packs of wolves and roadside bandits, what the heck did they do without gortex and sheets of newspaper to put inside your boots?!

Today's blip is me being sensible as usual... I suppose technically i shouldn't be blipping this as i didn't take the photo. But it was taken with my camera...

I've noticed that bread comes with everything whether you want it or not. I can't even eat bread and sometimes i'm charged for it. How does that work? My Spanish isn't good enough to complain about it so i just let it go. I can just about manage "no pan, soy allergica" but sometimes a little Spanish is a dangerous thing...
