Camino de Santiago Day 28
A sociable walk today, i plodded slowly along and met and chatted with many people. Annike a french dentist who i got along with splendidly. A Belgian who was very into Scottish politics. An American who was knitting and walking at the same time. I also bumped into Walter again - he is Australian and has cystic fibrosis and is walking to raise funds for a cf charity.
Today's albergue is my favourite so far. Run by a young couple Pablo and Belén. they were lovely, so welcoming. Tonight's meal was a communal meal, cooked by Pablo and Belén. All homemade and delicious. Garlic soup to start followed by a stew with lentils and chorizo. A custard pudding afterwards. Plenty of wine. All delicious. The bed for the night and the meal only cost me €12, total. amazing!
