Delphinium
Thank you to everyone who took time to leave such lovely feedback on my 100th blip. I'm blown away by the thoughtfulness and generosity of you all, thank you.
Delphinium flower essence works in the throat chakra. It helps to develop the ability to be a channel for the expression of one's individual spirit. I think that's how we all connect with Blip - everyone uses it to express their individuality.
I had a dilemma today - choose the image that most clearly shows the plant's Doctrine of Signature; how it heals..... or choose the image that I love most. So I've gone for both. On the left see how the flower head looks like the voice box and inside you can see what looks like a beautiful mandala of the spirit shining and wanting to be heard. On the right I just see pairs of angel wings flowing around the flower. I have felt the presence of angels everywhere today having started the morning listening to some beautiful spiritual music.
A perfect early autumn day today. A conker quest amongst the fallen leaves and ivy of the park - HUGE success. The conkers will be used in a massive conker fight at Noah's birthday party this weekend and extras put into goodie bags along with the usual tat and sugar. A good garden clearout - I can actually see next door's delphiniums now! And our first autumn bonfire in the fire pit this evening.
The first fire of autumn feels very different to the last fire of summer. The last fire of summer gets lit later after a barbeque and cool drinks and you can still read Harry Potter after 9pm. The first fire of autumn demands mugs of soup, a soft and gentle pace and it was far too dark to read Harry Potter even by 8pm. This is the best time of year. Time of softness, completion, nesting, harvesting and mellowing and reading again. I am 'reading' 6 books just now and look forward to completing them in the next cosy month. Wild by Jay Griffiths, The Hours by Michael Cunningham, Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris, Hedgewitch by Silver Ravenwolf, The Elves of Lily Hill Farm by Penny Kelly and Nature Spirits & Elemental Beings by Marko Pogancnik. Anyone finished any of them and can recommend?
