Sparrows

We have a resident troop of sparrows who live in our neighbors Leylandi hedge about 4 feet to the right of this picture. At times you can see a dozen or more little heads poking out waiting for a space to feed of to check that the Sparrow Hawk is not around.

Try as I might, I can never get a picture of all the heads showing, they are obviously keenly aware of whats going on around them. Today there's nothing much going on and thus three seem to be just topping up!

They are great fun to watch and seem to spent a lot of time scrapping and falling out
