The March of Progress...?

Another Darvel day and after lunch my mum and I popped into the new Tesco which has opened just as you go in to Galston. We were warmly welcomed by an assistant who gave us a jute bag with the legend, "I love Galston" on the outside.

My mum is in good form these days, cooking roasts, eating well but this new large store was too big for her. Being 85 she can remember when shopping was quite different. Anyway we got the few things she needed and out curiosity was satisfied.
