A positive start!!

Then rapidly downhill……. :0(

The damage to the wall was caused during the recent storm and when we found it the top left bricks were about 12ins out of the vertical. Fortunately when pulled back they stacked up again….not very safe to say the least.

The insurance assessor viewed the wall last week and gave all sorts of reasons why the claim would not be met!!! But this morning we received a call to say they would be making a contribution to the rebuild. We haven’t had a quote yet for rebuild, so not sure what proportion is being covered!!

Still all contributions are gratefully received.

I went off for a couple of hours to do some tapestry stitching at my neighbours and returned to find that B has MAJOR computer problems……not a happy soul……not a happy house :0(

Major rebuild and restoration!!

I’ve kept out of his way this afternoon and supplied cups of coffee and cake….the only thing I’m capable of doing in this situation!! He is coaching his athletes this evening, so will get out of the house and be distracted for a few hours.
