Take Over

Today was Takeover Day Scotland – a day on which museums up and down Scotland were taken over by children and teenagers! The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, as part of the National Collections of Scotland, was the only Garden to be involved. Local school children spent the day undertaking different tasks including creating snowflakes for a festive Garden trail and greeting visitors and helping in the shop and café. I certainly appreciated all the pretty snowflakes hung from the trees as I went for a walk this lunchtime. They looked fantastic with the light shining through them.
