Allotments, Depot Road, Horsham

Looking over the gate during my lunchbreak! One of those days again when it didn't seem to get light! The trees on the horizon to the right show up very well on a bright day when the sun is very low. There have been allotments on this site since at least 1932 and where the houses are on the horizon was once a brick field - all now filled in and built over. The variety of sheds, greenhouses and other structures and the different stages of cultivation make allotments a colourful subject for a picture at any time of year.
