Starlings

It's getting cold now. The insects are looking for warmth. What better than a warm cow pat. The starlings know where their food can be found and are gathering around the cattle, following their every step. As the days pass the flock gets bigger.

It may not have been that chilly today, as far as the thermometer lead me to belive, but there was a real nip in the air and low clouds made most of the day quite miserable. Stuck like glue to my desk again so the dogs only got a short walk and don't love me any more. Another day until I'm free to roam a bit. Roll on the weekend.
