Empty Nest Syndrome

The last time I saw these swans they had four cygnets with them. Today they were alone on a secluded section of the lake and the cygnets were no where to be seen. I wonder if they have gone their separate ways and where they might be. I got to the lake at 3.45pm and by 4.00pm the light had totally gone. I struggled with the settings and hope this is OK.
