In the mood

On account of it still being November I have not yet being feeling Christmassy. But a certain supermarket was offering 25% off booze deliveries so I decided to pay attention to the festive season. Its arrival earlier today did briefly send me a little festive. What with that and the Christmas Present Planning meeting earlier in the week I am practically now an elf.

Unfortunately things took a slightly downward turn as the stomach cramps I've had for a while became unignorable as the afternoon wore on. I had to abandon an attempt at a pilates class after 10minutes. And I am currently being tortured by amazing smells as Carlos cooks curry.

Still, there's a fire being lit and more of the marvellous season 6 of the West Wing to come and right now there's Despicable Me 2 with the kids so it's very far from all bad.
