The end of the Fair

We all feel a bit that way at the end of the school Christmas Fair. They soon perked up as they raced home and played on top of the nearly finished treehouse / super shed (as our neighbour has nicknamed it ).

One of these is theirs and we enjoyed a post-fair rejuvenating glass of wine together as the kids unleashed whatever energy they had left in the garden and when it got dark inside on the Wii.

We have two kids for a sleepover tonight and now they are happily ensconced in their respective rooms with many snacks and Nativity 2 for the younger ones and The Hunger Games for the older contingent.

For us another splendid night of fire, wine, curry de Carlos and the West Wing. If an evening ain't broke and all that.
