A lovely day off with the husband for a trip into Leeds: shopping (new shoes!), lunch, Christmas Markets to sample the honey mead, a bit more shopping (started some of the Christmas gift purchasing!), coffee and then the train home.

As the light was dimming the carousel looked great!

Also bought some chocolate mallows - Ammeretto, Gingerbread and Cappuccino flavoured. I then squashed them in my bag on the way home - whoops!

More painting for me this evening. I really want the utility finished. Mixed reviews about when to paint a fresh skim of plaster - 1 week to 1 month. Will research a bit more.
