Christmas Crowds

Another trip out today to another town and another Christmas Market!

Today was York's turn and with friends we squeezed through crowds, struggled to get close enough to any stall to see what it was selling, got pushed out of the way a few times and lost sight of each other on a number of occasions. Typical really!

But we did have a good catch up, a lovely pork, stuffing, apple and crackling bun, a hot punch with brandy :) and a visit to see Santa himself (no fakey beard for this one and the spit of Kris Kringle from Miracle on 34th Street) followed by hot chocolate and cream!

Sunset was amazing (not done justice here). A little stroll through Museum Gardens and off to get the train home.

Knaresborough on next weekend - and on the train route again, I will be heading straight for the brandy punch stall!
