Apple Pies in the making!

I was driving home from the village on what has turned out to be a very misty and grey day today and stopped to take this image at the Logan Brae Apple Orchard. The orchard is one of the earliest established in the Blue Mountains and has recently changed hands after being in the same family for decades. The young owner has lots of exciting plans and recently commenced a program of replacing some of the original trees with new varieties. We're all pretty excited about this as it has breathed new life into the very popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. Lots of Apple Pies coming up!!
