Black Friday!

8 league games played, 5 of them at home, and all 8 have been lost! It really is a Black Friday!

Tonight’s game was probably the worst! The first thirty minutes we were utterly dominant, a different team to what has been seen the rest of the season. Three tries to the good and we were 15 points to nil up, with Newport now down to 14 men having had a player sent off, this was the game to get all our frustrations out.

However, to then lose the game 26-15 and to capitulate in such a manner is hard to take, very hard to take. If we don’t get a win before Christmas we will be relegated. These are dark times for Neath R.F.C.

Tonight’s disappointment though was the complete opposite of the rest of the day, two very promising meetings talking about future projects for 2014. Exciting times in my career!
