Some enchanted evening

It was some enchanted afternoon when I went with friends to see a performance of South Pacific by the local operatic company. It was such a joy to watch them present so well the musical that is so familiar. As each tune came along I found I knew every word! I haven't seen South Pacific for very many years but I could have sung along with Some Enchanted Evening, I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair, Honey Bun, Bali Ha'i, Younger Than Springtime, and many more. So many hits in one musical - they don't write them like that these days!
Meanwhile Normous was at home watching yet more rugby on TV.
