Eva meets Father Christmas....
Eva took til nearly 11pm to settle last night, but slept through then til gone 8am this morning. Mike wasn't going off to hockey til nearly midday, so it was lovely to have the morning all together. I got a yummy sausage sandwich made for me by Mike, but Eva didn't want any breakfast. She ate a little bit of toast, but all she seemed to want was milk from me. She was cheerful this morning, just didn't want any other breakfast.
We spoke to Nanny and Grandad in Spain on FaceTime then. It is Nanny's 70th birthday today, so we sang her Happy Birthday and we look forward to seeing her when she comes over next week.
One thing I keep meaning to mention that Eva does is, she gargles her saliva. She's been doing it a while now, it's only when she's lying down and I've only noticed it when she's lying on her changing table, but she does it when I'm getting her ready in the mornings and if say, I give her a teething powder, she'll gargle it. Lol
She had a solid 2 hour sleep then til 2pm, and we were going off out at 3pm to Earlswood Garden Centre to their Christmas Market and to meet Father Christmas!!! Eva's first time meeting him. We met up with Lisa, Harry and James, Louise and Rhys, Louise and Liam and Tracy, Kathy, Michaela, Hugo and Ava. We had to wait in line for a while as it was so busy, and bless Eva, she was so patient, all snuggled in her pram with her cosy toes over her. We went in with Lisa, James and Harry and as soon as James saw Santa he was crying his eyes out, which soon set Eva off :-( I was hoping to get at least one decent photo of Eva's first meeting of Father Christmas, but today's pic was the best and least blurred of a bad bunch (cruel Mommy). We had a walk round the Christmas stalls after seeing Santa, then left around 5.
Eva didn't want her dinner when we got back, and didn't even want any raisins either, so that was saying something! She had a roll around on the floor for a bit and then cuddles with her daddy, then I took her up for her bath, milk and bed. She literally had a 5 minute feed, but was so tired, she couldn't keep her eyes open, so I carried her to bed and she was spark out. She woke up crying 45 minutes later, so I went up to finish her feed. She had a good 15 minutes of milk, then I carried her back to bed, and she snuggled down with snuggle bear, bunny and num nums, and was fast asleep within minutes. I've put her Little Bird patchwork effect coverlet on her cot today when I changed her bedding, it's so lovely. Let's hope babba girl sleeps well tonight Xxx
