SUCCESS!

As you can see, we finally hung the peanut feeder closer to the ground. It now gets emptied rather quickly! This junior squirrel has to stretch to his very limit to hold on and grab a peanut. It’s fun to watch them sway far to the right, then to the left, before a peanut comes loose. At first the feeder was hanging from a branch, but the squirrels never caught on to how to get to it. Unfortunately the branch was a bit flimsy, so maybe it was too risky for them, but that was the only branch I could reach to refill the feeder. Now it’s definitely not a challenge, but they’re quite happy with the situation!
