Luscious
Spectacular to come across in the autumn.
Walking through Kemerton woods this morning, we saw tucked away on a side path the most amazingly colourful tree. No leaves but full of luscious brilliant red berries, hanging in bunches draping it's entirety.
Clueless as to what it was I did have to google and find out. Apparently it's an american cranberry viburnum; deciduous, can survive below zero temperatures and the most wonderful colour! It even houses amongst the berries a few ladybirds, who have snuck in there; would go unnoticed and brilliantly disguised unless you were examining it really close too.
Altogether a splendid find!
