Cousins

We took Mum down to the local pub for lunch today, just to give her a change of scenery. A very nice lunch it was too.

My brother and sister in law came over today with the kids to have a catch up. They'd been to a Child Cancer Foundation Christmas party this morning and had lots of cool tattoos and face paints from that event.

My nephew is going for a scan tomorrow and he is likely to be readmitted on Tuesday for surgery. He seemed quite perky today, running around with the rest of them.

Long journey still ahead. He reckons that he's Captain Jack Sparrow with his head scarf. He still has some hair, but it is thinning by the day.
