Finches and berries

It was a lovely morning again for Advent Sunday and after seeing a couple of Thrushes enjoying the berries, the smaller finches had taken over by the time I got my camera.

It has clouded over now so no chance of another spectacular evening sky.

Lots of things I could have taken today appropriate for Advent but I am trying to avoid the Christmassy thing for a while especially after all that over indulgence in Edinburgh last week. Having said that I'm now off for a rehearsal for a Christmas Eve production for the Congregational Church. Just can't get away from it!
