Sint Niklaas

Today we visited the town of Sint Niklaas in Belgium as I remember reading a blip buddie's journal last year. We found St. Nicholas's house and were really impressed by the set up as the house was huge and we got to visit his bedroom, toy rooms and even his bathroom - we loved his toilet as it looked like a proper throne! At the end we were ushered into a room to meet the man himself and Zwarte Piet which the kids were delighted about especially when they were both given a chocolate present! We then went outside to the gardens to meet his horse which was lovely. And it was all free which was an added bonus!

We then had a little wander around before spotting a nice place for an early lunch before heading home to open advent calendars. Christmas is coming!
