Roundabout No.1

The streets and roundabouts of Jeddah are adorned with sculptures and decorations, which I fully intend to share with the Blip-community! I saw this one for the first time today on our way back from the Al-Bilad Beach Resort (Abayas off as soon as you're through the gate and bikinis /shorts /whatever you like on) Strange, strange concept. Frequented by expats galore and I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were a few were Saudi families there, stepping into a temporary world for the day, complete with non-alcoholic Budweiser...

Great fun though. Snorkelling in the Red Sea: Tick! Lots of pretty fish, it was like being on the set of Finding Nemo! We stopped off at a drive-thru Starbucks on the way home, for a refreshing mocha-choca-ice-shake thing. The mind boggles!
