Greenbelt under threat

A brilliant sunny day and I set off for a quick walk up the road only it turned out to be a couple of hours because I kept meeting folk I know and we soon got to talking about this landscape – Bridge-of-Allan, Park of Keir, and Dunblane with the Trossachs in the background which is under constant pressure from developers.

It could so easily turn into urban sprawl by filling it all up with yet more executive houses thus destroying the very countryside, which makes it such a special place to live.

We agreed we would continue to fight to preserve the Greenbelt between Dunblane and Bridge-of-Allan: yet another battle of the community versus the developers.
