Their Gran's decided she'd like a new photo of her grandkids, seems the ones she has above her mantlepiece just now are a wee bit dated and in need of a refresh.
A good excuse it was for us all then to head out for an all-day breakfast (would've been a proper breakfast had it not been for some young lady taking over an hour and a bit to get ready to go out) before taking a leisurely walk around the Dam scouting out suitable locations for photos. The place looked stunning in the winter sunshine, though there are a fair few newly uprooted trees strewn across the paths after the recent strong winds that required us to take a detour or two.
On the road home, as we've now tipped over into December, we had great fun taking bets on how many houses on each street would have their Christmas decorations up already. Loads of them there were.
Perfect afternoon all round.
