Duck or DUKW

Mum has been a tourist in Boston this afternoon. It was a bit rainy but warmer than yesterday.
This shot is the Longfellow Bridge taken on the Charles River from the window of an amphibious vehicle offering a tour of Boston - a duck tour The tour guide is very knowledgeable and covers a lot of the history of Boston over 80 minutes. The vehicle was used in WW2 to move supplies and troops around.
The history lesson included Puritans (not nice people), the Revolution, John Adams, John Hancock, Paul Revere, George Washington (wearing a Boston Red Sox jacket) and more. Lots of great universities here too - mum is just heading to Cambridge to enjoy dinner.
