Dangerzone
Milne & Matt looing the part, flight testing one of the stocking prezzies that I bought for Sam.
We definitely kicked back today, enjoying a lovely lie in & then rising to continue our Birthmas extravaganza weekend by indulging in yet more mice pies, choccy biccies & yes you guessed it, Christmas films! It was unanimous - Jim Carrey in the Grinch was first up! We've had such a holly, jolly Birthmas, it's been joyful and triumphant!
Sam assembled the feather light plane from flat back & it was designed to be propelled with two long elastic bands that if twisted around for some 200+ times would fly for 90 seconds. Well, our fears of losing our new toy into middle distance, across the roof tops toward the horizon, were slightly premature..

..We did eventually get it air born, of sorts, after a number of stalls in mid air & the inevitable nose dive or three, managing to haphazardly propel it over the fences either side of our garden, for about 10-15 seconds of airborne activity. Not bad.
Flying high on the successes of our teamwork & ingenuity, we fled indoors to warm our cockles on some mulled wine & the Santa Clause with Tim Allen. We rounded off a wonderfully relaxing day & a wickedly fun weekend with a equally delicious as yesterdays, leftover roast, & a cheeky bonus film, Team America, a real favourite of all of ours! 'Remember, there's no 'I' in Team America'. But incidentally, there is an 'I' in Birthmas!
'Merry Birthmas to all, and to all a good night! When I get home, I'm getting a CAT scan!'
