Sweet Frangipani

I stayed overnight in Brisbane for the switching on of the Christmas lights gig at which our choir, Morningsong, performed. It was a wonderful evening and we sang to - and with - a packed hall.

This Frangipani tree grew beneath the room I stayed in - and at night it released its magnificent sweet scent into the air - how I wish I could have blipped that perfume! Even without the scent though, it's one of my favourite flowering trees.

I've been away from internet access for a day and a half - so apologies for patchy commenting. I'm back in my place in Maleny now so will be catching up ASAP.
