As The Sun Goes Down, So Does The Temperature

It's been HOT here in Queensland today - too hot for doing much of anything and really gusty too which meant whatever got blipped had to be too solid to move in the wind..

I tried to take my constitutional walking route but found myself lolling in a cafe with a tea and a date scone before I'd done half my circuit!

Got home and while hoovering turned to see a BIG spider - fast, aggressive, veomous. About 20cm across. Though it would have made a spectacular blip, I decided discretion was the better part of valour so grabbed the insect spray instead of the camera. {{{shudder}}} That was scary.

Went to a Christmas craft fair, then home again to watch the test cricket on TV in between catching up on a few office jobs.

I was a bit disappointed with the handful of blips I'd got - and then the coming evening brought wonderful cool fresh air and this glorious sunset.
