Otter Frustration

Spent an "otterly" frustrating ½ hour this morning trying to get this big guy to come back up on the bank and play for the camera like he was until I got the telephoto lens on the camera. Then into the water only to surface, raise his head and pretend to be the Loch Ness Monster (a bit of otter cosplay!) And why is it that the wiser animals (I have had porpoises, seals, foxes, manatees and, of course, cats do this) question what you are doing? Crap, animals, just go about your being cute stuff and I will do the work here. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GET INVOLVED - 'cept for the being cute part!
