Bridge on the Little River Rail Trail, Ataahua
With fine weather this evening greeting us when we arrived home, I quickly got changed and shoved the mountain bike in the back of the truck and headed for the rail trail.
Whilst it was still in the valley, it was a different story out on the lake shore, with the southerly breeze cooling things down and giving a little extra resistance training for the ride.
Heading towards Motukarara, I stopped at the bride over one of the culverts to check my tyres and to get a breather. Here's the view I had. I don't reckon there would be many static bikes that compare with that outlook....
As I write, I'm keeping an eye on the clock. Might be time to grab a milky way shot soon I reckon....
