Decoration Day!

All the bags and boxes are down from the loft ready to have the decorations taken out of them and put up. Hubby is busy putting up the bright ceiling decorations at the moment - for the first time in 2 years. Last year, none of us seemed to feel very well in December, so we kept the decorating to a minimum (which is probably a maximum by most standards!) We love colour, so have kept decorations from years ago which have mixed colours on them. We also have coloured lights mostly, which is very unfashionable! One of my friends labels our house "Santa's Grotto" and always makes sure to visit in December for a coffee to get her in the Christmas mood!

My job is to decorate the tree (hubby puts the lights on it first as that needs a lot of patience). This is usually done late in the afternoon, or even over a couple of days if necessary. I have also wrapped my first two presents today. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...!
