Away from the rush

Guildford High Street was busy today with Christmas shoppers, but just take a few steps into a side road and it is quite quiet. As is the case with so many of Guildford's buildings, the upper part of this shop shows its age with its jettied upper floor. It pays to look above the shop windows.
I went into Guildford on the Park and Ride, and today it was standing room only. So not everybody is shopping on line as they would have us believe! The Park and Ride buses have been painted a magenta pink and renamed the "Pink and Ride" in support of the Breast Cancer Campaign.
