Cotoneaster

The birds don't seem interested in these cotoneaster berries. It may be that they are so well camouflaged amongst the leaves that have turned bright red this year. But the berries are still intact on the neighboring pyracantha too. Normous believes it is because so many of our neighbours have bird tables. We don't feed the birds because we have Coco the cat.
It has turned colder already but it is still dry and overcast. Normous has been sweeping leaves again, but there are still more to come!
