Golden Crown
Waiting for the bus outside King's College, Aberdeen, late afternoon and light failing. Turned round and saw they had just put on the lights, giving the Crown Tower a makeover. Took a snap shot, ISO 6400 f8. Must learn how to do poor light photography.
Incidentally, I was setting off home from a lecture entitled 'Translating the Old Testament from Hebrew into Doric' (Doric being the local dialect in NE Scotland). Sounds formidable, but it was very entertaining. The first verses of the Bible come out as: 'In e heid o aathin, God makkit e Lift an e Land. An e Land wes athoot form (pronounce as 'forrum') an teem, an Dark wes ower e face o the Deep, an e Spirit o God flichtert ower e watters'. Easier to understand than the Hebrew, onywey, surely.
